At Debhoo Food Point, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy explains the terms and conditions under which you can cancel your order, the timelines for cancellation, and any applicable fees or refunds.
We strive to be fair and transparent in our cancellation process while ensuring operational efficiency.

2. Cancellation Timelines
Our cancellation timelines are based on the stage of order processing:
Within 10 Minutes
Full Refund - No cancellation fee
Cancel immediately after placing order
10 - 30 Minutes
Partial Refund - 50% cancellation fee
Order preparation may have begun
After 30 Minutes
No Refund - Order in progress
Food preparation is underway
Post-Delivery
Quality Issues Only - Not cancellable

3. How to Cancel an Order
You can cancel your order through any of these methods:

4. Cancellation Fees
We apply cancellation fees based on the stage of order processing:
Cancellation fees are deducted from the total order amount before processing the refund.
5. Prepaid vs COD Orders
Cancellation policies differ for prepaid and Cash on Delivery (COD) orders:
Prepaid Orders
- Full refund within 10 minutes
- Partial refund within 10-30 minutes
- No refund after 30 minutes
- Refund to original payment method
- Processing time: 5-7 business days
Cash on Delivery (COD)
- Free cancellation anytime
- No payment made so no refund needed
- No cancellation fee
- Simply inform us before delivery
- Delivery partner informed
6. Bulk & Corporate Orders
Special cancellation terms apply for bulk and corporate orders:
- Advance Notice: Bulk orders require 24 hours advance cancellation notice.
- Cancellation Fee: 20% cancellation fee applies for orders above ₹5,000.
- Corporate Orders: Cancellation terms are as per agreement.
- Event Catering: Cancellation policy is custom and mentioned in contract.
- Prepaid Bulk: Full refund if canceled 48 hours before delivery.

7. Restaurant-Initiated Cancellations
We may cancel orders in the following circumstances:
- Out of Stock: We will contact you to offer alternatives or cancel.
- Technical Issues: System errors or payment processing issues.
- Operational Issues: Kitchen issues, delivery partner unavailability.
- Invalid Address: Address not serviceable or incorrect.
- Suspicious Activity: Fraudulent orders or payment issues.
In case of restaurant-initiated cancellations:
- Full Refund: You will receive a full refund.
- Notification: We will inform you of the cancellation.
- Resolution: We will help you place a new order if needed.
8. Cancellation After Delivery
Once an order is delivered, cancellation is not possible. However:
- Quality Issues: Please refer to our Refund Policy.
- Wrong Order: Contact us immediately for resolution.
- Missing Items: We will issue a refund for missing items.
- Damaged Food: Report within 30 minutes for refund.
Important: After delivery, we cannot accept returns or process cancellations.
9. Partial Cancellations
You can cancel specific items from your order:
- Timeline: Partial cancellations allowed within 10 minutes of ordering.
- Refund: You will receive a refund for canceled items.
- Remaining Order: The rest of your order will be processed as usual.
- Combos/Multi-Item: Combo item cancellations may affect the total price.
- Customizations: Customized items may not be cancellable.
10. Late Cancellations & No-Shows
We understand that emergencies happen, but repeated cancellations can affect our operations:
- No-Show Policy: If you fail to receive the delivery, the order will be considered complete.
- Multiple Cancellations: We may restrict future orders if you frequently cancel.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations after 30 minutes will incur 100% charges.
- COD Rejection: Refusing COD orders multiple times may lead to COD being disabled.
Tip: If you're running late, please call us to reschedule delivery rather than canceling.
11. Changes to Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
